The CCG Trust (Reg. charity no. 1118179)

The founder of CCG has established a new charitable trust for members and friends of CCG, to support wildlife in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, one of the great wilderness areas and premier safari destinations of Africa. The Luangwa Valley is the size of England and is a Protected Area for wildlife with four National Parks; however, in recent years there has been an increase in commercial game meat poaching and the illegal ivory trade.

In order to assist sustainable development including conservation, tourism and education, the CCG Trust has selected specific projects for financial assistance - operating in the fields of wildlife education, anti-poaching and community development. These are small scale organisations whose focused and dedicated work in a particular national park has significant impact, from effective use of modest resources. Donors are able to visit the projects as part of a safari and see first hand the use of their funds.

The Trust is supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland. The trustees have selected the following two projects for financial support from the CCG Trust in 2007-08:
